Happiness implies.....??

Reading this must have evoked a number of memories?? A fun holiday with family, get-together with school friends or a movie with your sweetheart – each individual has his/her own definition of happiness. While I am writing this, I came up with my own.

For me, happiness lies in small, little things. I wake up late in the morning and my sister is ready with a delicious breakfast and a healthy lunch to carry office – this is happiness; I went to office and I was praised for my work – this is happiness; it’s my birthday and my parents gave a surprise visit to my house – this is happiness.

Small little things have the power to bring smile on your face which, many times, a visit to a 5-star restaurant cannot bring.

Happiness is absolute and pure. It’s about how you look at things and how you deal with your problems. It’s just a state of mind which helps you think much more than the lower part of your life.
It’s about loving what you have rather than cribbing for what you don’t have. It makes you enjoy the smallest things in your life.

There’s nothing that can beat the joy and happiness we gain from the simplest things in our life. In short, happiness is not an emotion, it’s a choice we all should make.
